I'm so so impressed and amazed at how the instructor used dance as a language to worship God, and also interpreting how God speaks to us.
We realised that many times when we lead God lead us into dancing for Him, while listening to a christian song, we're led to do a certain move or steps. Then we were taught to pause and ask God what does that step mean; what is God saying to us? It can be surrender, God is everything, rising up, lifting up, etc.
Cool! Certain moves the instructeress showed, she explained the meaning behind the moves. Eg, leaving down the baggages to God and the Cross, and then moving away from them. Wow! But I kept losing my balances after I moved back. Alamak. Bcoz it's also a kind of ballet move which I am new to.
We kept praying half way through as we were dancing. We prayed for breakthrough we wanna experience. And then we did the moves that signifies breakthrough. Which made the moves look really strong, even it's a delicate and simple 4steps.
I even saw guys who were so so passionate for God, even when they looked really scary for a start bcoz they're fierce looking. Zhui look. That's cool. The guys are dance coaches in their churches. And there's a girl who looks really like Hilary Duff. Haha!!
